Shrove Tuesday

This morning, Olivina, from Tonga, came to say thank you St Paul's Catholic School for our contributions of money.
In Tonga, they buy pigs to sell to pay school fees and to buy school books and mullberry trees. Mulberry trees are used to make tapa cloth. They cut the mulberry trees, they skin them, they dry them, they beat them with wooden clubs and they weave them into tapa cloth mats for  the floor and for the table.
