Sunny Side Zoo

It was a sunny Thursday morning. The kids were getting ready for their class zoo trip. One of the kids asked, ”Can we see the Rhino’s please?”
”Alright,” said the teacher, ”But don't make it angry.”
As soon as I got there, there were people screaming.
”What is wrong?”
“ The ... The ... The Rhino has escaped!"
As he said it, the class saw the rhino charging at them. The class ran to the closest room that they could find but they had a problem. It was locked. They couldn't get in. The rhino was horning everyone.
I had no choice. I  started to charge at the door with my full force. It finally broke and there was a loud THUD!!!! The rhino noticed me and began to run at the class.
While it was running, the teacher saw us and called the zoo keepers. It was nearly upon us.
As it went past the bridge, all the zoo keepers fired tranquilizer darts and the rhino went down with a THUD!!!!!!!!!
We thought to ourselves, ”Well, we are never going to come here again."

A Wonderful Day at Hamilton Zoo

A Wonderful Day at the Zoo Joshua 9/12/14
It was a beautiful morning. We walked through the entrance into the zoo.We had been trying hard all year to get our reward-a trip to Hamilton zoo.My job was to take three people to the zoo.I had to take Jayden, Xavier, and Devyn.
First, when we got there, we saw the birds. Some of them were white, feathery, vicious and tall.We were warned not to put our hands in the cage. The birds walked slowly and clumsily. As we went through the bird enclosure, we saw the zoo keeper feed the dangerous birds. Then Devyn said, "Don't let them eat your fingers."
After the birds, we decided to go to the chimpanzees. When we got there, we realised that the chimpanzees had broken the window, but they weren't on the loose. Some chimpanzees were in  the monkey house.
Finally, we went to the education room. It had tiger skin, a boa constrictor skin. a dead tarantula, and some skulls of animals that used to live at the Hamilton Zoo. After the zookeeper stopped talking to us, we went around the classroom and held some animal skulls, and some dead crocodiles.
“That was the best day ever,” I said in my mind.
